Ultherapy: See the Beauty of Sound

Ultherapy

Modern cosmetic procedures are taking advantage of new, innovative approaches to leveraging technology to improve how skin stands up to the aging process. What is most amazing is that many of these approaches are about as non-invasive as they can possibly get; yet, the results being achieved with these methods are nothing less than stunning. One of these modern cosmetic procedures is called Ultherapy®, and it is a testament to how sound can be used to bring beauty and life back to your aging skin.

The Beauty of Sound

You might be wondering what sound has to do with making a person look young and beautiful again, and the answer is that it has a lot to do with rejuvenating aging skin. In the past, you may have seen how ultrasound technology could be used to look inside a pregnant woman to produce an image of a fetus. If that use of ultrasound energy was not amazing enough, today cosmetic surgeons are using ultrasound energy to provoke the body to produce key proteins like collagen and elastin that helps your skin regain a tighter, youthful appearance.

Not only can a cosmetic surgeon use ultrasound energy to see beneath the layers of skin to determine where the underneath of the skin could use more lift, but this same ultrasound energy can be used to heat up these deficient regions throughout the process of Ultherapy®. As the sublayers of skin heat up, this provokes the body to respond with a normal healing process that continues to produce the necessary proteins your skin needs. This result will continue for the next three to six months, improving the look of your skin as time passes.

The Recovery Time

Since Ultherapy® is a non-invasive procedure, you can expect that there will be nothing in the way of a prolonged recovery period like with other cosmetic procedures. To the contrary, Ultherapy® can be performed over your lunch break, and you could be back to work the same day. The only real concern that you have to worry about is that you will need to wear sunscreen when you are outside for a few days. The product you use needs to have an SPF rating of 30 or greater. Furthermore, it is best if you do not spend long durations outside in direct sunlight until your skin has had time to recover from Ultherapy®.

If you would like to see what kind of beautiful results Ultherapy® at Sule Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic in Dallas can achieve with your facial skin, then be sure to give us a visit. Contact us today to schedule your consultation!
