Dr. Aneeta Goomar, M.D., ABFM, CCFP
Dallas Skin-Care specialist, Dr. Aneeta Goomar is a double board-certified family physician with a special interest in dermatology and cosmetic medicine. She is a certifiant of the Canadian College of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Goomar was born and raised in Canada where she attended her Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as her M.D. at Dalhousie University, a top ten university in the country. She graduated residency from a top five school in the nation, prestigious McGill University (Harvard of the North), and completed her clinical rotations, including several in Dermatology at the prestigious Sir Morimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital under Dr. Robyn Billik. Dr. Goomar went on to develop a very busy family practice in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where she concentrated on women’s health issues, the promotion of wellness, as well as, dermatology and skin-care.
After moving to the United States and becoming board certified, Dr. Goomar continued to pursue her interest and gain further experience and education in the fields of dermatology, cosmetic medicine and laser medicine. She will be offering skin care consultations for patients of Sule Plastic Surgery Clinic and plans to add superficial peels and other aesthetic procedures, including laser treatments to our growing array of services. In addition, as a board certified physician, Dr. Goomar can advise patients on medical skin conditions, prescribe medication, and refer patients to the appropriate specialists when necessary. In conjunction with Dr. Sule’s surgical role, our team can deal with any skin moles, lesions, or bumps which may be of concern to our patients.
Dr. Aneeta Goomar approaches skincare with her own unique philosophy, paying special attention to all aspects of a patient’s health and lifestyle, psychological and physical, as they impact the patient’s overall well-being and appearance. The attention to various aspects of wellness such as diet, exercise, and, stress reduction that Dr. Goomar pays in her own life, is a reflection of her belief that overall health is the ultimate key to defying aging and achieving beautiful, glowing skin.
