]]> If you are concerned about the sagging appearance of your neck, often called a “turkey gobbler,” a neck lift may be right for you. A neck lift is basically a combination of procedures that aims to tighten the profile of the neck and lift sagging.

The neck lift typically involves the removal of excess skin, alteration of neck muscles, liposuction and Botox injections. One of the most common complaints is the “turkey gobbler,” or “turkey wattle.” Aging skin has less elasticity than younger skin, which is why the skin sags and creates the appearance of the second chin. Small incisions along the hairline near the ears are made to enable tightening and lifting.
